The fastest way to reach us is email. Write to support@usebrenda.com from the address tied to your Brenda account and we’ll reply within 1–2 business days. To help us help you faster, include:
- Your account email (the one you signed up with)
- Your device and OS (e.g. iPhone 15, iOS 18)
- The app version (Profile → About)
- A short description of what happened and what you expected

Common questions
My bank won’t connect or stopped syncing
Brenda connects to your bank through Plaid (read-only). If a connection breaks, open the app → Profile → Bank connections and tap the affected bank to re-authenticate. Banks occasionally require you to re-confirm access for security — this is normal. If it still fails, email us with the bank name and we’ll investigate.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Manage or cancel from your store account:
- iOS — Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Brenda.
- Android — Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Brenda.
Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple / Google under their policies.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app → Profile → Privacy & security → Delete account. Full instructions, including how to request deletion by email, are on our delete account page.
I forgot my login or can’t sign in
Brenda signs you in with a one-time code sent to your email. On the sign-in screen, enter your email and we’ll send a fresh code. If the code doesn’t arrive, check spam, then email support@usebrenda.com.
Is my data safe?
Bank access is read-only through Plaid, data is encrypted in transit, we don’t sell it, and we don’t train models on it. The full details are in our privacy policy.
